Tennis Elbow?

Can’t pick up a cup or shake hands? We’ve all been there before where we’ve had excruciating pain from tennis elbow. Nothing beats resting the elbow and physio, but there are things you can do with restringing a racquet that can help.

  1. Restring your tennis racquet with a multifilament or a synthetic gut.
  2. Restring at a lower tension. Not everyone likes a lower tension, but this will help especially if you’re using a polyester string.
  3. Use a less stiff racquet. Racquets have a certain flex to them. Softer racquets are better for tennis elbow than stiffer racquets.

These are a few things you can try if you’re experiencing tennis elbow.
